Game Master reference / Monster
Description and lore
A vast, decaying sea creature shadows a vessel, its whale-like bulk appearing between dark swells. Torn flesh trails behind the great shape beneath the wake.
Dark water conceals most of the decaying bulk. A pale flank rolls beside the vessel, then sinks beneath the wake.
The ship's ordinary creaks become difficult to ignore. Below the rail, the same great shape follows every turn.
