Game Master reference / Monster
Description and lore
A stone guardian waits in the posture of an ornament until something threatens its charge. Worn wings and talons give its stillness a dangerous shape.
Weather has softened the carved face, but the talons keep their sharp outline. Moss rests in joints that rarely move.
The guardian watches the same threshold with patient intensity. A visitor's hand draws its attention more quickly than a visitor's face.
