Description and lore
A green-skinned prowler draws travelers toward false routes and waits where their bearings fail. A familiar-looking path becomes another reason to doubt the way ahead.
The green figure remains just ahead of the travelers. Every turn seems plausible until a familiar landmark appears at the wrong angle.
The path offers the comfort of recognition without the certainty of arrival. A watcher slips behind the next tree.
