Description and lore
A corrupted abomination drags shadowy tendrils behind a clawed body. Caustic spittle marks the ground beneath its mouth.
Caustic spittle hangs beneath a strained jaw. Shadowy tendrils search around the obstacles its clawed body cannot comfortably cross.
The corrupted form leaves questions in its wake. Something recognizable may persist beneath the damage, but the body gives no easy answer.

Use: Basic attack · Claws: Might + supplemental d8 Wound (slashing).
Effect - Signature: Caustic Spit: Corrode Burst with physical delivery, representing bodily caustic injury. Use the existing shared Burst pool and one feasible Evade, Block or Withstand defense per target. Seize at 10-foot reach as an Action. Regrow, but also prevented by Burn or Holy-tagged damage as defined.
Counterplay: Burn or Holy stops regrowth; it cannot spit, seize and claw in the same Action.
Relationship: Corrupted being; curing its condition is an open design question.
A string of spittle falls and hisses against the ground. Beyond it, dark tendrils curl around the broken edge of the doorway.
