Effect: Once per turn when casting one of the catalog’s six direct-damage spells, spend 1 additional Mana to add 1d4 supplemental damage to its first declared target only, before defenses. Roll it once; it cannot crit or join the Affinity chain. No healing, control or guardian benefit. This can combine with ordinary 3-Mana catalog purchases, but not Spellweight or Focused Burst.
