Use: Reaction · 2 Mana
Effect: Trigger: you or a creature protected by your Channel Guard takes damage from a spell after defenses. Reduce that remaining damage by 1d8, to a minimum of 0. Use only once per turn; this does not prevent the spell's other effects or reroll a completed Affinity critical chain; the reduction die cannot crit.
A low shimmer ripples outward as the spell's glare strikes.
