Description and lore
A burst specialist might reserve a familiar spell's most intense expression for one chosen moment.
Companions sometimes notice the preparation only when the caster’s hands stop trembling afterward.
The contrast with everyday casting gives the release its dramatic weight.

Requires: Invoke d12. requires Spellweight.
Damaging Caster
Effect: Once per Full Rest, when a catalog direct-damage spell declares only one target, spend 2 additional Mana to add one supplemental die matching the casting Affinity size. This is a supplemental die, rolled once, not another Affinity or critical trigger. Replaces Arcane Edge and Spellweight for this casting; no extra targets, range or duration.
The caster stills, and all the working's light gathers toward one point.
