Description and lore

Projection

An imagined face, route, or shape becomes a shared visual reference.

Lore and observations

Projection makes a planning table out of an empty patch of air, useful when words leave everyone picturing different things.

A rough diagram can be more valuable than a beautiful one if it shows the turn everyone needs to remember.

Rules and details

Requires

Requires: Casting Skill: Crafting. Affinity: Intellect. one learned slot.

Use

Use: Action · 15 feet; one static image · Instant with timed consequence · 0 Mana

Effect

Effect: Display a static image of a face, route, symbol or proposed construction until the beginning of your next turn. It communicates visual information but creates no light source, physical obstruction or automatic concealment. Meaningful deception uses Crafting + Intellect against each observer's Perception + Intellect; defenders win ties. An ally may use genuinely helpful information through the normal shared assistance rules, not an automatic spell bonus.

Description

An imagined shape briefly becomes visible to everyone.

At the table

A small route hangs before the group; a finger marks the missing turn.
