Description and lore

Trace

A known name becomes a direction held in the diviner's attention.

Lore and observations

Trace suits a search in which recognition comes before discovery: a familiar place or person given a bearing in the mind.

At an uncertain junction, the caster grows quiet before turning toward the chosen direction.
