Dreamscape borrows the unease of a bad dream: a safe step looks treacherous and a straight line feels unreliable.
A companion's confident step across the same ground can feel more disturbing than the apparent danger itself.

Use: Action · 30 feet · up to three creatures in a 10-foot-radius area · Persistent · 3 Mana
Effect - Resolution: Crafting + Intellect versus each target’s Perception + Intellect.
Effect - Defense: each target rolls and sums its own Perception + Intellect; defender wins ties.
Effect: On failure, a target perceives treacherous terrain: halve its Movement and give Disadvantage on the primary die of its next Aim Test or aimed attack, whichever happens first. This penalty is spent after that roll and is not refreshed by maintenance. No repeated recovery Contest; the illusion ends at its stated endpoint.
Duration: caster Intellect tier in rounds, ending at the end of that many following caster turns, or earlier when the caster is incapacitated or persistence ends.
Ending or recovery: one Dreamscape per caster.
Exception: No physical obstruction or damage; creatures immune to sensory deception use their explicit protection.
Imagined hazards twist the ground within your victims’ perception.
The paving seems to tilt away from your foot, though a companion walks it steadily.
