Effect: An arbalest is a massive reinforced crossbow with a powerful mechanical draw and heavy stock. It is most commonly used for highly deliberate ranged attacks against hard or distant targets.
Effect - Other uses: Firing heavy utility bolts, projecting line or anchors with suitable ammunition, hunting very large game, and damaging rigid material at range.
The bearer sets the broad weapon down before checking its mechanism.
