Description and lore
Fitted plates articulate around the body as a complete protective harness.
Lames, straps, and hinges meet around the body, leaving carefully fitted spaces for the joints.
A well-kept harness can still show scuffs along the edges that move together.

A fitted articulated harness of rigid plates built to distribute and deflect battlefield impacts.
Deflecting Plate - Conditional
Against Wound (slashing or piercing) attacks that strike intact plate rather than a deliberately exposed gap, increase this armor's Withstand Support by 1 die size. If Support would increase beyond d12, use the normal die-boundary rule.
Burden
Might-based armor burden applies normally.
The wearer bends an elbow; the overlapping plates slide past one another.
