Description and lore
Undergloom lichen forms a faintly luminous growth used in scouting lamps and lenses.
Low light catches the texture of the Abyss's dark surfaces. The small growth's uneven outline remains visible against the damp stone around it.
A fitted lens or hooded lamp gives the specimen a clear destination. The completed tool belongs in the hand of someone examining what is visible.
