Description and lore
Blackrock ore yields dark metal for equipment and structural fittings.
A broken ore face beside a newly shaped plate makes the passage from raw mineral to useful metal visible.
The finished metal takes on a defined job: a reinforced join, a fitted bracket or a worked equipment edge. Its maker tests the contact surfaces before setting down the tools.
