Description and lore

Nightmoss

Nightmoss is a toxic fungus prepared for withering extracts.

Lore and observations

Dark fungus forms a mat against damp stone. Collected pieces lie separately in a shallow dish, away from the rest of the preparation supplies.

The maker keeps a covered vessel ready and clears discarded fragments from the working area. A clean bench makes the small, hazardous ingredient easier to manage.
